Officers/Executives
Dennis Ledbetter - Founder and Director of Pre-Construction Services
Mr. Ledbetter founded Tri-Technic, Inc. in 1982, after spending over ten years with Pacific Gas and Electric Company working in their T&D department. With nearly four decades of experience in electrical and general construction of power utilities, substation, and T&D industries, as well as HVDC converters and power plants, heavy industrial and municipal projects, Mr. Ledbetter is well qualified to lead the company in its market niches.
As president, Mr. Ledbetter has directed the geographic expansion of Tri-Technic and has overseen a wide range of projects. He has also built the Tri-Technic client base to include numerous public and governmental agencies, and medium to large manufacturers and construction contractors.
Mr. Ledbetter has been active in attracting and developing the company’s top senior management team and contributes leadership and vision for setting the company’s long-range plans and goals. He remains deeply involved in developing leadership in key field and management personnel, as well as management of day-to-day company matters.
Chris Payne - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Payne joined Tri-Technic in 2009. He has direct responsibility for day to day corporate operations, developing company budgets and revenue projections and for developing and implementing corporate initiatives. He oversees the management of Tri-Technic’s Estimating, Safety, Business Operations, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Mr. Payne is also reponsible for developing and maintaining business development and relationships as well as relationships with the bank, insurance and bonding companies.
Prior to joining Tri-Technic, Mr. Payne served as a Vice President at Contra Costa Electric, Inc., an EMCOR company in Martinez, California. During his 13 years at Contra Costa, Mr. Payne was responsible for setting yearly budgets and projections for the Utility and Technology Divisions.
He served on the executive management team steering committee to drive and implement corporate initiatives, and he was lead executive for a PG&E and SCE EPC contract valued at $50 to $75M per year. Mr. Payne was also instrumental in developing and managing the mentoring program and leadership development team at Contra Costa Electric.
Prior to that, Mr. Payne was the operations manager at Lera Electric in San Francisco, California. Mr. Payne’s business experience spans over 25 years in the electrical construction industry.
Dan Haley - Chief Financial Officer and Controller
Mr. Haley came onboard in January 2010. He has complete corporate fiscal and regulatory responsibilities and oversees the entire accounting department including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. In addition, Mr. Haley manages relationships between the banks, insurance, and bonding companies on behalf of Tri-Technic and is part of the senior management team, which is responsible for strategic corporate initiative and long-range planning. He also is responsible for the implementation, upgrades, and daily management of Tri-Technic’s state-of-the-art accounting, purchasing, and project management software systems.
Prior to his involvement with Tri-Technic, Mr. Haley served as interim CFO for the Dome Construction Corporation, a general contractor specializing in executing extensive and large-scale retrofit and new commercial projects in the San Francisco Bay area.
Before his time at Dome Construction, Mr. Haley was chief financial officer/controller at Panelized Structures, Inc./Post Properties, LLC in Modesto, California, leading the organization to the highest level of financial performance in its history.
Mr. Haley provided finance, business development, and strategic planning consulting services for Technology Investment Consultants, where he was a consultant and principal owner. Mr. Haley has an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Washington, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
