El Centro, California:  B.E.S.S. or Battery Energy Storage System is a project developed and constructed by G.E. and Tri-Technic to be a high power, low energy battery storage facility located in El Centro, Ca. utilizing SAMSUNG’s Lithium Ion battery technology. This was the first 30 megawatt project developed and constructed by G.E. and Tri-Technic that was sold to a municipal energy company (IID) in the United States.
