Tri-Technic is always on the lookout for the very best talented and experienced people who are capable of contributing to the growth and development of our organization. Tri-Technic is looking for qualified people for the following positions:

Site Manager:

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in mid- or upper-level power industry project management. The candidate must have a superior technical understanding and background, and provide clear examples of advanced level project controls, such as scheduling, cost controls, change management, estimating, professional project correspondence, document controls, development and enforcement of project site policies and overall project documentation and reporting, and related skills. Integrity, superior leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills are musts for this position. The ideal candidate will possess negotiating skills, and have a proven record of relationship building among all project stakeholders. Candidate should be prepared to travel anywhere within North America.

Project Engineer:

Ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or in the primary disciplines involved in the power industry, such as electrical / instrumentation / controls, mechanical / piping, or civil / structural. Candidate should have a minimum of three years successful field experience in power or a similarly complex industry and have proven success in major equipment research and installation detailing; also, equipment and materials specifications, project and short interval scheduling, preparation and assembly of detailed work packs, project documentation, estimating, document control, change management and capture, and related skills. Candidate should be prepared to travel anywhere within North America.

General Superintendent:

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years in top-level craft and general project supervision in power or similarly complex industries. Must possess a superior technical background and understanding in all the primary disciplines involved in the power industry: electrical / instrumentation / controls, mechanical / piping, and civil / structural. The candidate must demonstrate superior leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills, and have a proven record of successful project controls and effective management of labor agreements. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of OSHA and state mandated safety regulations and industry best practices and be prepared to provide clear examples of advance-level project controls, such as: scheduling, manpower staging, equipment management, change management and cost capture, quality control processes, application and enforcement of project site policies, professional project work documentation, and related skills. Candidate should be prepared to travel anywhere within North America.

Project Coordinator:

Normal duties will include project administration, document control, logistics, expediting, time keeping, general project documentation, general office work, and related tasks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a two-year associate’s degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent field experience in construction administration or in the primary disciplines involved in the power industry. Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and organizational aptitude, and the desire to advance into project management, supervision, or engineering. Candidate must be a team player who is willing and able to complete assignments with minimal supervision as directed by the site manager or general superintendent.

Craft Superintendent:

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years as a craft general foreman (supervising other craft foremen), or equivalent supervisory experience in power or a similarly complex industry. We seek candidates who possess superior technical backgrounds and understanding in one of the primary disciplines involved in the power industry: electrical / instrumentation / controls, or mechanical / piping, or civil / structural. Must possess superior leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills, and a proven record of cost effective and on-time work completions. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of OSHA and state mandated safety regulations that govern your craft; and, be prepared to provide clear examples of advance level supervision, effective work planning and scheduling, manpower staging, equipment management, change and cost capture, quality control processes, daily work documentation, and assure compliance with project site policies. We look for candidates who can demonstrate success with Tri-Technic’s three primary cornerstones of performance: safety, productivity, and quality. Multi-lingual is a plus.

Procurement Manager:

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years in materials / equipment procurement, management, expediting, or equivalent background in the power or a similarly complex industry. Must possess a superior technical background and understanding in the primary disciplines involved in the power industry: electrical / instrumentation / controls, mechanical / piping, and civil / structural. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in procuring, preparing, and compiling technical and product submittals in accordance with required specifications. Must demonstrate superior negotiating skills while maintaining the highest integrity and business ethics, and demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and professionalism in working with project staff, vendors, and subcontractors. Candidate must have a proven track record of cost savings and on-time project deliveries.

Site Safety Supervisor:

Ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years in safety supervision and management, or equivalent technical trade background in the power or a similarly complex industry. Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of OSHA, MSHA, and State OSH Department regulations, and industry best management practices in the primary disciplines involved in the power industry: electrical / instrumentation / controls, mechanical / piping, and civil / structural. Must demonstrate proficiency in project safety documentation, specific task and on-going safety training and associated documentation in accordance with regulatory and company policies. Safety Supervisor will work under the supervision of our Safety Director
